Jawad Ahmads solo carrier began four years ago with the release of “Allah mere dil ke under” which became an instant hit in Pakistan. The follow up CD “Ucheyan majajah wall” has sold over 1.2 million copies. His latest album “Jind jan sohnian” was released last November. Ahmad has also composed the soundtrack to “Mousa Khan” and for the Television serie “Deewaney”.

Jawads music is inspired by bhangra melodious pop, and often carries an air of spirituality. Ahmads texts are self composed and he sings both in urdu and Punjabi. Ahmad is socially
engaged and he is involved in the project “Taaleem for All” which aims at giving the youth education.

Jawad Ahmad is surely one of the favourites under Mela 2004. Don’t miss this unique chance.
